Madhya Daram Khola B Small Hydropower Project (4.0MW)

Description

Madhya Daram Khola B Small Hydropower Project is in Baglung District, Dhaulagiri Zone. It is a cascade project of Madhya Daram A Small Hydropower Project and also harnesses additional discharge from Daram Khola. The installed capacity of the project is 4.0 MW with design discharge of 4.72 m 3 /sec and rated net head of 102.45m.

Main Components:

 Head works of drop intake in Daram Khola, intake, arrangement for tapping of upstream project’s discharge, desander, head-race pipe, surge tank, penstock pipe, anchor blocks, pipe supports, powerhouse, tail-race and 33kV Transmission Line.

Ø  Detail project study of Project and preparation of DPR.
