Aayu Malun Khola Hydropower Project
is RoR type of Hydropower Project being developed in Malun Rural Municipality
of Okhaldhunga district, Eastern Development Region of Nepal Province no
1. The total installed capacity of the
Project is 21 MW with a design discharge of 4.52 m3/sec at a net head of 511.58
m.
Main Components:
Diversion Weir, Sand and Gravel
Flushing arrangements, Headrace pipe (577m), Headrace Tunnel( 1876m), surge
tank, penstock pipe, powerhouse, tailrace, switchyard, 132kV transmission line
and interconnection facilities required for power evacuation of the project.
