Madhya Daram Khola A Small Hydro-power Project (4MW)

Description

Madhya Daram Khola A Small Hydropower Project is located in Baglung District, Dhaulagiri Zone.  It has installed capacity of 4.0 MW with design discharge of 3.75m3/sec and rated net head of 127.20m. The project can generate 16.89 GWh of energy annually to NEA grid at proposed 33 kV substations at Harichaur.

Main Components:

Headworks with free flow weir in Daram Khola, intake, gravel trap, desander, headrace pipe, surge tank, penstock pipe, anchor blocks, pipe supports, powerhouse and tailrace and 33Kv transmission line.
